Changes
Added
- Line Counter: The game will show the number of lines cleared.
- Score on Soft Drop: Player will get
1
point for every row moved down with soft drop. - Score on Hard Drop: Player will get
1*remaining distance
points for every hard drop.
Improved
- Level cap removed: Now, the maximum level is 255, I left this variable unprotected on purpose so who knows what will happen if you overpass that level 🤷♂️. This cap still exists in the main menu.
- GameBoy Scoring System: Now, the player will get the same score as in GameBoy Tetris.
- GameBoy Level System: Instead of leveling up based on score, now the player will level up based on lines cleared. From level 1 to 9, the player will level up every 10 lines, then 20 lines for the rest of the game.
- GameBoy Level Speed: Updated the speed formula to mimic the GameBoy speed formula. It’s not exactly the same, but close enough.
