Description

This is a text-character-based Tetris clone developed using SGDK, for Genesis/Megadrive (that’s why the horrible name)

How to Play

Download the ROM.
Open the game in a compatible Megadrive emulator such as Kgens.

Controls

UP: Drop Tetromino
DOWN: Move Down Tetromino
LEFT & RIGHT: Move Tetromino Horizontally
A & C: Rotate Counter-clockwise
B: Rotate Clockwise
START: Pause

Nice Tetris to Mega Drive. I also added it to my new "Gameplay of New Mega Drive/Genesis Games from October 2023 to 2024" video along with all the other newly released Mega Drive/Genesis games.

well done so far! playing 0.4.0 on a Mega Everdrive x5 through a Mega Sg (v2 4.9 firmware). music is chill, and controls are solid. also works well on my Hyperkin MegaRetroN HD.

would love to see SRAM support for high score(s) keeping in the future.

Thanks! It’s good to know that it’s working fine on real hardware, I’m still waiting for my Everdrive to be delivered.

I have in mind to add SRAM support soon, but currently I’m working on small code refactors and fine tuning how some mechanics works!
